My spring semester ended, and I started my long, long summer vacation. Almost 3 months. lol
I continue searching internship, but it seems to be very difficult for me to find it due to the business recession nowadays. Luckily I got a job of TA this summer semester, but it is a part-time job and will end in the beginning of July. And low income. :(
This June is the Pride Month as you know. A lot of events are going on in the city and I enjoy them very much even though I am poor. I look forward to seeing the parade, that is the biggest event this month ... I have never seen such a big parade, my only experience is having attended in Tokyo Pride Parade.

今週は1週間の春休みに入っていますが、Teaching Assistantをやっている中間試験の採点が1つ、プロジェクトワークが3つ、中間試験が休み明けに1つあり、毎日机に向かっていてあまり休みという感じがしません。最近ご無沙汰していたジムに週3回きっちり通えるぐらい。Gバーとかも学期に入ってから行ってないかも。本当は今週末NYCではブラックパーティとかあるんですけどねぇ。まあ行けないでしょう。$110っていうお値段にまずびっくりです。学生にはムリ。

前回SSNを手に入れて、今度はクレジットカードというところだったんですが、すったもんだあって(銀行側のミスだったんですが)結局待つこと2ヶ月弱、やっと先日手に入れました。今後はなるべくこのカードで買い物をするようにしないと。

Teaching Assistantの仕事は相当大変です。85人生徒がいるので、試験や宿題で85人分のER図やSQLの採点をします。みんな手書きだし、出来る子の採点は○をつけるだけなんで簡単なんですが、間違ってる場合の採点はやっぱりただ×をつけるだけじゃなくてなぜ間違っているか、いろいろコメントを書いたりしているとどんどん時間が経ってしまいます。減点の量にぶれが出ないようにも気を配る必要があるし。。。でも自分の勉強にもなるし、生徒とのインタラクションも増えてなかなか楽しい仕事ではあります。月366$しかもらえないんで、もう少しもらえたらなぁと思いますが。

相変わらず夏休みの仕事はまだ見つかってません。まあ、忙しくて応募もあまり出来ていないってのも悪いのですが、どうしようもないですね。本業が第一なんで、これから試験の勉強して寝ます。
